Once a simple farmhouse in the now-defunct commune of Saint-Sébastien-de-Cassagnas, Le Triadou takes its name from a heritage: livestock farming has left its mark here.

Indeed, in this place, the animals returned from the pasture were sorted under the guidance of a communal shepherd. The breeding of sheep was one of the major components of the economy of the Montpellier scrublands.
With this gone, Le Triadou converted to wine. The vine remained the only crop and the man of the land had to adapt, turning to wine production. A wine that has acquired its letters of nobility in the Pic Saint-Loup terroir.
Today, the winegrowers of the Pic Saint-Loup have obtained wines of remarkable quality.

Le Triadou, belonging to the production area of these nectars, is therefore a good place to go for a few tasty discoveries.

In the parish, a small church of pre-Romanesque origin regularly gathered the faithful. Part of it remains, known as La Clastre (a regional name to be taken in the sense of presbytery). This is adjacent to the building.

In the 19th century, the dilapidation of the place of worship did not encourage its reconstruction and a new building was erected: the present church.
